Paul started out on an Olympus e-500 DSLR which had an 8 megapixel 4/3 sensor but in 2013 he upgraded to a Sony SLT-A77V camera. This model sports a translucent mirror giving it a frame rate of up to 12fps. He normally uses the Sony 16-50 SSM and Sony 75-300 (SAL75300) lenses.

In 2014 Paul moved into the Full-Frame arena but kept with Sony in the A7R. Using this for lanscapes and still-life the 36Mp sensor keeps things crisp and clear.
